With the Fourth of July coming up fast, it is time to start making plans for the holiday! Independence Day is one of our favorites. Celebrating our free country in the summer sun with friends? Sounds great to us! From vacations to staycations to BBQ’s and community events there is something for everyone on The Fourth of July especially in the beautiful and busy Treasure Valley! You know where to find us grilling up burgers and other good ole American entrees but if you’re looking for the place to watch the fireworks at night or even somewhere to spend the day, we’re not too far away from Ann Morrison Park. Boise’s big fireworks show has been traditionally held at Ann Morrison Park for years but the rest of the day looks to be full of family fun as well. Live music, plenty of children’s activities and even a chalk art festival will precede the big show. And don’t forget the big Liberty Day Parade downtown at 11am! See the parade route here.

Out With The Old
If you’ve had a chance to make it down to our new building in the last month, you may have noticed something missing. After years of building up Big Juds as a local landmark, we have finally knocked down the old building to make room for the traffic coming to the new building. To some it may look like much needed additional parking space and to others, it may resonate the nostalgia and memories that came with seeing the old building set back on our lot. We had many of those mixed feelings too as we watched the demolition take place last month; relief, anticipation and excitement along with a little sentimental wistfulness. However, as we reminisce about all of the old memories we’ve had in that building, we remember that we have moved them in to the new building while making room for more. We wanted to share the demolition with you and thank everyone who enjoyed our quaint little building over the years.
